D: They slaughtered Roy. The office is too organised looking. And why does Jen's head look insanely large?

They are so going to ruin it.

I don't really understand why they are bothering to remake it in the first place. They ruin every good thing that they remake, the most notable being anything that can easily be dubbed or subtitled - I still resent them for taking and refilming Japanese Horror films like Ring (*cries* they ruined the best horror film ever), The Grudge and One Missed Call.
Besides, what difference does the fact that The IT Crowd is British make? I can't think of any references or mentions that they won't understand. It just looks like Channel 4 are keen to Americanise it all, and employ some more people over their side of the pond.

Will Moss have to do a US accent?

Will Moss have to do a US accent? I was wondering that. It'll just be plain bizarre, having one English geek in an American office. I suspect I'll end up watching bits of it on YouTube, just out of morbid compulsion to see how the hell it'll turn out. Kind of like watcing a car crash... Though apparently (ie. my uncle told me so) the US remake of The Office was pretty OK, so maybe it won't be an unmitigated disaster. Has anyone seen any of that/got opinions on it?

Well, I saw a tiny bit of it and it didn't look that great.... It was all sort of.... forced D: I really hope they don't TOTALLY murder the IT Crowd, it'll be an utter blood bath D<

Hooray! Has the remake idea been completely discarded, then? With some luck, they will air our episodes over there, and the people will be converted. British humour FTW.

Me too, I can just imagine all the IT Crowd fans huddled around the TVs awaiting the pilot episode and comparing it to the British version D:!
I'm so glad it's off though D: The Americans always remake great shows! D< It's so unfair lol
